A leader head is a device used in roof plumbing to capture stormwater runoff from the rain guttering of a building.〔A Visual Dictionary of Architecture / Frances D.K. Leader heads are commonly made from sheet metal in the form of a box of varying shape and size which is open at the top and has one or more outlets to which downpipes are attached.
